Photography has always been about more than beautiful images. It’s about preserving the people, connections, and stories that shape our lives through intentional storytelling and emotive imagery.
Established in 2017, Hannah Alyse Photography was born from the desire to curate more quiet, meaningful moments with loved ones. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something deeper and more impactful. It served as a way to document the people, connections, and stories that shape our lives.
This passion for preserving moments that matter grew into a business rooted in intentional storytelling and emotional depth. Today, I photograph couples, families, graduates, and entrepreneurs with the intent to document all of life’s milestones and everyday memories.
The most meaningful photographs are the ones that make you feel something for years to come.
One thing that has always come naturally to me is a strong connection to other people's emotions. I'm deeply aware of the energy in a room and the subtle moments happening between people like the quiet glances and tenderness in everyday interactions. This sensitivity is what has fueled my creativity in a lot of ways. Allowing me the ability to notice and preserve moments that often go unseen but mean the most.
My background is in Psychology and I believe my need to understand others is what drives my passion for emotive, story-telling photography. My brain never stops trying to draw connections and romanticize all of life's moments. Some may say I've got my "head in the clouds" but to me, life is all about the feelings we have with the ones we love. Like coming home after a hard day to the embrace of your significant other or your children. It's safety, comfort, joy and so many emotions wrapped up into one.
My photography is rooted in capturing these feelings and helping preserve that moment so you always have it to look back on. It's what makes my work less about stiff posing and more about creating space for real moments to unfold.
Outside of photography, I live with my husband and our zoo (i.e., 2 dogs and 2 cats) in the foothills of North Carolina surrounded by nature. My days are spent with scrolling a little too much on TikTok, slightly oversharing an unhinged story on Instagram, chaotically baking or hyper-fixating on my new hobby.
